A bold, contemporary brand identity designed to convey energy, agility and confidence helping Plend stand out in the competitive, ever-evolving world of finance.
Plend harnesses open banking to make loans more affordable and more accessible for those with a poor credit history. We helped them overhaul their entire brand identity to give them something modern and dynamic to help stand out in the world of consumer finance.
Our design was purposely bold and colourful – utilising a unique palette and series of graphical icons that gave the brand energy and set them apart from other financial organisations.
The design also needed to instil a sense of confidence and trust with a younger audience. So to ensure the brand resonated with Gen Z, photography was chosen that felt more “real” and less staged – as well as a set of type styles that could flex from more brand-led messages, to more functional financial text.
Plend’s new visual Identity gave them something ownable, distinctive and engaging with customers, but also helped them attract £40m in seed funding through Leon and Soho House backers Active Partners, Velocity Juice, Sivo and the founders of both Monzo and Starling Bank.
